Late Republican Romans

Hi all just added some new photos of my Late Republican/Marian Romans. A mix of figures as usual. The Foundry Late Republican legionaries are one of the nicest Roman ranges around. Thanks for looking!

Newline & Foundry - Balearic slingers
Renegade, Vendel and 1st Corps - Gallic allies
A&A and Foundry - Numidian Cavalry

  2. Very good work. But, if I may... What with the Numidian shields? They look too simple and uniform too me. Is there a reason?

  3. Hi Sebastofig it is just the way I painted them there's no real reason. They're supposed to be simple red leather bucklers! I really like the LBM Numidian transfers and actually have a Numidian army to paint so may try a few out different shield designs for these.

  4. Those Romans look as though they mean business - very intimidating. Good work!

  9. Thanks Dan. Yeah the WF aren't the greatest figures but they paint up suprisingly well.
