Antiochus III and Later Seleucids

Antiochus III - Relic Miniatures

Here are a few photos of Antiochus III and Later Seleucid troops, including Agema, cataphracts and an armoured elephant. The figures are Old Glory except for Antiochus who is made by Relic Miniatures. I need  to repaint the bases on all of these figures to give them a proper sandy, desert look. The standards are from Seleucid coins.

  1. Very nice indeed. Do let us know when they go stomping all over Romans.

  6. Wonderful mini's - Seleucids will by my next ancients army - who can resist a combinations of Pikeman, heavy cavalry and Ellies?

How do like the Old Glory figures. My experience with Old Glory 25mm Nap's has been hit or miss?

  9. Thanks Miles, Rodger and Christopher. Miles the Old Glory Seleucid figures are good but I agree with the your hit and miss comment about their figures. There are some better ranges around for sure with Foundry, 1st Corps, Relic, Vendel and Aventine.
