Aventine Italian Cavalry

Here are a few photos of a small unit of Aventine Italian cavalry that I've just finished. The photos below show another unit from the same range for comparison and both units combined as a single unit. These are fantastic detailed figures that are easy to paint and are really versatile - they can be used as various Italian allies for a Republican Roman army, as Tarentine cavalry and I will probably even field them as Samnite cavalry for my Samnite army.

    1. I had some of the Aventine models, just a bit to pricey for me to collect..

    2. Plastics are the way to go in 28mm for popular ranges - Vicrtrix and Aventine are really compatible.

  6. Superb as always Cyrus, does anyone stock them in Australia? I have bought into the Victrix and Agema plastic Romans and am looking for a few cavalry for them.

  7. Thanks Chris, I think Little Soldiers in SA were the Australian agents but not sure if they're still operating. I've always ordered direct from Keith at Aventine - really great service too usually two weeks from UK.
