Victrix Carthaginian Citizen Spearmen

Here are a few photos of a unit of Carthaginian Citizen Spearmen that I've just finished painting from the Victrix plastic Warriors of Carthage box set. I've opted for overarm poses with thureoi and the transfers are all Victrix as well.

  2. Excellent work on these, Mike. Love Spanish shield designs, and these look great. The scorpion motif particularly cool.

  8. Very nice indeed. I've been wondering what to use for the citizen spear men at Zama, and these would definitely do the job. Thanks for posting!

  10. Really like these. On the list at some point. Could at a push be converted also into NeoBabylonians or Hebrews. Once the plastic elephants come a Carthaginian army will be too hard to resist.
